North Woodmere - we grew up within a couple of miles of each other and went to the same schools
Are you kidding - PA is terrible - you have to spell your name right and everything to get a permit in PA!

Also, is the Plate number also tied to the P. Permit? Guess it couldn't be, that Plate would only show who the car is registered to. So, when the Officer initially approaches you in your car, he/she must be unaware of your CCH at that point. That correct?
I can't testify to the other states. Ours are together because DPS is the issuing agency for both the DL and the CCH, which makes it convenient.

No, there is no tie between the LP and the CCH.

He definitely was a tool, but actually he was a Deputy Sherrif. He was the personification of the stereotypical small town, big bellied, tight belted, red necked Buford T. Justice wannabee....in fact he kinda even looked like a dissipated Jackie Gleason! And I'm from deep south Louisiana so I recognize the breed....lol

I am sure this is helpful in identifying criminals, driving stolen vehicles, with fake drivers licenses, and illegal firearms. This just creates an opportunity to once more make life miserable for those who have no criminal intent .

In the land near the "Kingdom of NYC" many police are very jumpy when making a traffic stop.It is probable they disarm many people carrying illegally because carry licenses are rarely issued. In the "Kingdom" my NY State Carry license is invalid and you must be rich ,well connected,a celebrity or law enforcement to be carrying a firearm there. If you don't immeadiately identify yourself as a licensed person and where the gun is you risk being shot.Different states are able to make thier CHL Laws with some being "shall issue" some being "may issue" ,some being "carry under restriction" and some being "not for carry".The second Ammendment has been open to interpretation for too long.JMHO...Mike
