I know it's not a Colt, but the engraving is so nice I had to have it. :-) even the screws are engraved. The gun is a Navy Arms / Cimmarron / Uberti 1875 Schofield replica in .45 LC. The finish is French Gray and the stocks are Jerry Meacham Ivory. The engraver has this gun featured in his gallery on his website. If any of you are looking for master level hand hammer and chisel engraving I would recommend him.
Engraved Uberti Cimarron Model No. 3 Schofield .45 LC by reigelgunengraving.com
Again, sorry it is not a Colt but I thought you would enjoy the pictures.
I'm not a big fan of getting a gun engraved, Mainly because I've seen so many guns engraved poorly, But if your going to engrave a gun your Schofield is a perfect example on how it should be done.
Very nice, but then Mike Harvey (Cimarron's Owner) has exquisite taste in fine firearms.
That is mighty fine! Been thinking about getting mine engraved.

Well it's a Navy Arms box, wHt does it say on the left side of the barrel?
Box states Navy Arms, Left side of barrel says Cimarron, right side of barrel says Uberti :-) who owns who?
I would contact Cimarron. I used to work there and the staff is usually very knowledgeable and helpful. They build their bound books as they come in from the manufacturer, when they go on the shelf awaiting sale the box label has the book location for reference. my problem is the Cimarron Schofields on the net have Import marks on the opposite side of the barrel assembly.
