Hi captken, nice to meet you. Welcome to the Forum!
Coming from the sunny beaches of North Florida. Haven't owned a Colt in years but use to tote a Lightweight Commander when working the midnight shift back in the LEO days of 70's and 80's. That was my rolling in the bar floors gun. Day shift I wore my shiney webgear with a Smith 28-2. Now the stable holds Smiths and Sigs. The only reason I still don't have the Commander is it belonged to the department. We had a policy back then that we could check out and carry any weapon we might have taken off a suspect. I had taken this gun off a guy that was wanted for shooting up a bar with it. So I had to turn it in when I left the department. Probably sitting in the drawer of some supervisor's desk or long disappeared from inventory.

Welcome captken, I bet a lot of guns would have interesting stories that will never be told.
Tomorrow hopes we have learned something from yesterday.
