Hello all. New to the forum, semi new to colts, not new to firearms. Only have one Colt, it was my grandfathers that was given to my aunt after my grandmother passed away. Now it's mine. Was shot and not cleaned and left to sit for many years.
Don't know if my grandfather bought it new, but i doubt it, probably a gunshow/flea market find years ago and he liked it. No box or paper work with it. Means alot to me that it was his.
It has a few wear spots and one semi bad spot that looks like the nickel is going to "flake" off eventually.
Only have a few handguns at the moment, have foolishly and regretfully sold quite a few.
Now some pics...
When i first got it...
After a little love and a little Flitz...
And my Handguns at the moment...

Welcome to the forum! Like Colt-SL said, your grandfather would be proud!
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit such crimes... such laws make things worse for the assualted and better for the assailants: they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man" Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare BeccariaNRA Life Member
