I found this forum doing some research on my "new" Colt Python. I've always been a 1911 guy but these revolvers just beckon a guy.

Actually the first pistol I bought in 1990 was a nicely used Colt series 80 stainless government model. I wish I still had that, I traded it in when I thought I put a fair amount of wear on it shooting. In hindsight I don't think all those 200 grain LSWC's did a thing to her. That's one of the few I sold that I do regret. I also had an Officer's model in stainless as well and sold that to the same fellow. Less regret there.
I have a 1911 but it's another brand and I guess I never warmed up to it as much as the original.
