Hi Skans, nice to meet you. Welcome to the Forum, glad you're here.
I recently became interested, well almost obsessed, with certain vintage Colt revolvers: Early Colt Pythons and 1st Gen SAA's. I've done some reading on this website and it seems like lots of folks here share my same obsessions - so howdy.I have collected firearms for many years, but have stayed away from revolvers. Well,I've found a new appreciation for the Colt revolvers. I post regularly on The Firing Line. Budda recommended that I check out this site, and I seem to have stumbled on a huge wealth of information - so far, I've gone back and read over 50 pages of postings before even registering. So, I recently dove into Colt Revolvers by purchasing a 1960 Python and a 1908 SAA. I have lots of questions, and I'll post pictures when I get a chance, but I'll save that for the appropriate forums.

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit such crimes... such laws make things worse for the assualted and better for the assailants: they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man" Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare BeccariaNRA Life Member
