Welcome (back) to the forum. Great forum to learn and share. Keep the snow up there for a spell if you'd be so kind. Course we typically don't get much down here in West Texas.

Starting to branch out a bit more into Colt handguns now and can use the accumulation of knowledge found here. So thought I'd reaquaint myself with the forum.
Most recently found a pair of late 1970's Detective Specials like new, no box/papers though. I've always liked the DS guns, even carried one for a winter way back in the 1970's as a young NJ cop. Always liked the beefier feel and extra round over the 5 shot J frames. One is a .38 spcl, the other a .32 Colt NP ...leaning towards snagging the thirty two. I like the RETRO look.
I've got a half dozen other Colts nestled in the safe...outnumbered three or four to one by S&W's. But they don't seem to mind.

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit such crimes... such laws make things worse for the assualted and better for the assailants: they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man" Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare BeccariaNRA Life Member
I haven't been through Craig Montana in years. You live in "God's County" for sure. Still remember getting stuck behind drivers from the Dakotas. We used to call it the 'Big Empty'. Welcome back!
