No info but welcome to the forum from the UP.
Hi,
I have a Colt Commander L.W. NIB and would like to know how well I invested...not that it matters...I still have it in my safe and that's what counts to me.
It has a serial number in the CLW 046xxx range. I paid $700 a few months ago and am happy with the gun...that's what matters.
Any info on the year and other input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I wish I had a magic bullet for your problem but all I have are hollow points.
I think you did well. Welcome to the forum.

I don't want to be a pest but here's a view of my Colt Commander. If you zoom in, you can read the slide markings. I also have the original box made of a wood grain looking cardboard that states the model to be 04840. I'm trying to decide if I should leave it in the box or go out and play. I'm not well versed in this area and would like a little guidance...Attachment 17911
Hello Michigan. I think if you go to some of the on-line auction sites and look up your commander, I think you will see that the price you paid is in the ball park. I was lucky and got my commander(not lt wt) and someone had installed a few "bells and wistles" and I paid about 700.00. I was lucky. If you like it, and it fits you, and it shoots well then everything else is just feathers. Hope that helps
