    Howdy y'all

    I'm Ken from California

    Retired 2 years ago after 25 years as a Deputy Sheriff.

    I'd like to say have an arsenal of weapons...but I don't. J/K

    I own 1 Colt and it was used as my main CCW for a long time. It's a Detective Special. I no longer carry this as my CCW because i would rather keep this in the best condition I can plus the course of fire for qualification, even for Retired Deputies, is almost impossible with a revolver...so I bought an auto loader.

    Probably won't post much but will read all posts that interest me.

    I was hired in 1986 with the SB county Marshal's Office. In 1999 the Marshals were absorbed into the Sheriff's Dept. I went to Rio Hondo Academy. Don't ask me why my Dept sent me to LA county for the academy....that was i think one of the dumbest things they could have done....At that time LA county and SB county did things totally different...it's like I had to be retrained after completing the academy. LOL
