Hello, I recently went from not owning any Colts to owning two in a matter of 2 weeks. My first purchase was a Police Positive Special with it's original box, in almost unfired condition. Manufacting date of 1967 or so.
My second purchase was a Model 1909. This revolver was manufactured in 1911. Great bore and lock up. Has all the Government marking and lanyard ring. Finish is about what is expected with a 100 year old revolver.
So, I joined your group to educate myself in these fine handguns.

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit such crimes... such laws make things worse for the assualted and better for the assailants: they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man" Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare BeccariaNRA Life Member
