Hello from the Southwest

I would like to say Hi. I joined yesterday and have spent most of the past 24 hours reading posts.

I collect just about any type of firearm but have always had trouble passing up Colt's or S&W's. I also prefer antique guns. As far as Colts go I have a couple 1st gen SAA and a couple 3rd's. A Thunderer and a Lightning, a New Service from 1903 that I am waiting on a Colt letter for.

I am also a pocket watch collector but now days buy more guns than watches. I do a lot of historical research for some of the web watch sites as to who prior owners of watches were or who certain jewelers were. I enjoy trying to find old information on people and things. I am hoping mabe I can do a little history searching here.

I do get out on the firing range as often as I can but since my kids are grown & gone I don't get out as often as I use to.
