Thought I'd post here, since I'm a fellow tarheel! And I have the Colt ACP in my blood!
My Dad was in WW2 and Korea and Vietnam. He taught me the ACP, and it served me well when I joined up!
I own a 1911A1 government made in 1951. she don't get used anymore, she's my baby!
Just retired my colt commander, for a Springfield XDm .45 compact, as my carry piece.
Until I find a left-handed holster! LOL
Also have a Colt XSE for my target/range shooting....damn sweet gun!
I also have a few others, a trick'd-out S&W 645, and another POS S&W 645, an H&K Mk 23.
As you can tell I'm a .45 ACP shooter! LOL

I also have a Ruger 22/45 (love this gun!), a Mosquito, and a Bushmaster.
They're my practice/range guns. .22 LRs are a lot cheaper than .45s! LOL
