Slip out of those hot Glocks and into a cold Python. First off, welcome to the forum. It's been said that the Python is the Rolls Royce of revolvers. If that isn't a selling point I'm not sure what is. They are no longer produced, coveted as a collector gun and just down right gorgeous. They're expensive, check gunbroker.com to verify. But they are what a lot of Colt guys go after. Shooting them is a treat not to be missed. How'd I do Kid??![]()

Damn speech to text on my phone, and thank you Colt-SL. I just inherited my grandfather's m1911 a1, And am hopping all colts are built the same way. I tried shooting other 1911 but this one blew them all out of the water. I'm in California so the pickings are slim. But I'm looking at a 4" blued colt python with a little sign of wear but nothing to bad. I want it for shooting not for show. Anything other advice on what to look for woulde great.

Being in California are not not restricted on what years you can get, unless it's already there ?

If by there, you mean in the shop, yes its already there. I've been calling around for a little over a year now to gun shops with no luck. This is the first one I've seen for sale in my area.

Said to be Colt's crowning achievement in revolvers. Hard to argue with the smooth trigger and accuracy besides being purdy![]()

Hello, jrlobo707, & welcome to the Forum. Pythons ARE a thing of beauty and I'm not even a revolver guy. Just wanna say welcome aboard and enjoy the ride!

welcome Jrlobo from North Carolina. A purty Colt gives me both the chills and typo's too. This forum is the best place for leads on good deals and most importantly.. the not-good deals that appear to be good ones.
