What to do with that space under your porch.

Just thought I would share a couple of pictures of my "Toy Room" that I built under the front porch. Walls are re-barred every 6 inches both ways and lapped over into the top slab pour to tie it together. Made the walnut strips and pegs myself. Now when I say I'm going to my happy spot, it is a real place.

Although this makes me feel somewhat "inadequate" it's a great way to show the wife I don't have too many guns....

    Thanks for postin'

Goodness gracious (as my Grandmother would say)! Great engineering for a great getaway room. Nice collection too!

    Nice.
By the way, no chance of flooding where you are is there ?
Can't tell where you are based on lack of location in your profile.

Mine is called the swamp, a inclosed back porch. I spend about 95% of my time out here. Nice hideout for your collection.

I'd just hate see those babies under water is all.
I wish I had a place where I could hang mine on the walls.
