Nice. Very nice. I am currently for a Browning A5 or a Remington Model 11 to cut down. Hopefully I will find a good used affordable one in the near future.

    Very interesting.
The last photo (black & White) almost looks like the guy in the picture was photoshopped into the picture.
Did you buy that display at auction ?

In the movie, I liked Bonnie's moustache comb. See below.

Frank Hamer's family sued the producers of Bonnie & Clyde over the depiction of Hamer in this movie. I think they got a settlement over it. In the 60's I saw this movie about five times (50 cents admission) and loved it. I like it still but can't stand the romanticism and especially the way they portrayed Hamer. Note the Franzite grips on his Colt.

That's a nice reproduction of the guns used by Barrow though I am guessing from the pics that the barrels of the Model 11 Remington's they favored were around 15 to 17 inches.

My gun isn't really a reproduction of anything, I simply like this type gun and wanted one in an SBS. It has a 14 inch barrel and a stock shortened to youth dimensions only.

BTW, lest i be flamed, both of these guns had been refinished and not very nicely so before I got them. i have been offered substantially more for the first one than I paid for the pair.

I also have another in a non-NFA version with an 18 inch barrel. Other than the length of the barrel and the rib it is identical.

Man, those look notorious! I love 'em! Especially the top one. I wouldn't own onw without that round pistol grip.

    Wyatt, you love 'em eh?

Maybe you'll like this old Winchester Model 12. It was a dog and I had to do a lot of work on it. But here she is:

One local gun shop has piles of these shotguns you have here with full length barrels for around $250. I have my eye on one Rem. 11 with a round pistol grip. I've looked at it three times.

Get out of looking mode and get in buying mode before the pile dwindles to nothing

Only one of these guns I have shown,; the NFA Browning, came with barrels that were original length. The others had those ugly choke devices that were popular decades ago.

The one original barrel was not cut but changed out for one that had a dog knot on it.

If memory serves me right, Bonnies 'wippet' was a Remington M 11 in 20 gauge, being easier for her to handle.

Yup, just checked my history info on B&G. Bonnies wippet was a Rem 11 in 20 gauge, saw the pics of them holding it with other Barrow guns.
