My first, purchased last week.

My second purchased a few weeks later. The blued revolver is a DS made in 76 and the nickel is a Cobra made in 75. The guns are in really nice condition but I plan to shoot them.


So I put Hogue grips on them because for me they are much more comfortable to shoot.

I am surprised no one mentioned the red ramp front sight. That question of availability comes up now and then and I see that your box has what appears to be a factory sticker noting that feature.

I don't think so, not back then. Today's sights are far different but back then it added extreme contrast and made sighting the gun easier with faster front sight acquisition.

Great gun. I love the cutout trigger guard bobbed hammer. The $500 bill dates the gun well.

Got this DS from my mother-in-law, she doesn't remember much about it other than her husband got it for her in the 80's, and she pretty sure he added the orange front site, wider trigger and the grips.
Anyone know if they came in this two tone finish? Any info would be great (no other info to give at this time). Thanks
