well, it's not pristine, but a pretty nice, smooth, and tight detective special from 1962, same year as me! actually, i think it has weathered the years better than i have!

Nice DS. As far as finding an exact date, pretty slim. I'd go with the year. Just do a title & description search on gunbroker for your birth year. That will be a good first start.
