My Nickel Plated "Non Colt" Came home Today

This is the 1979 S&W Model 39-2 I just got. It has all the paperwork including the original owners notes of buying it in Alaska in 1980. He sold it for $250 in '88. I found it locally for $400. It has an unbelievably smooth D.A. pull. I just ordered these elk bone grips for it from master grip maker Patrick Grashorn. Can't wait to get 'em!

Matt - that's a nice 39; I have a blue 39-2 and I have your nickle plated 39-2's big brother, the Model 59 nickle; no papers or box though:

I haven't used the Flitz yet. It looks great in person but better in pictures. The "problems" with the nickel are really minor. But I'll still clean it up.

cwo4uscgret, I love that 59! Can you sell it to another guy with that hi-cap magazine? There's a 59 for sale out here (Ca.) but I think the seller can't sell it with the original magazine. Ten round max out here. It's a really nice touch that they accented certain parts in blue on these nickel guns.
