    Colt Model 1911

    I am trying to determine an approximate value on this pistol. It was my Fathers. It is a Colt Model 1911 US Army, nickle, with pearl grips. As best I can determine the trigger and the hammer have been replaced as well as the finish redone. It is serial No. 541XXX. I would appreciate any guidance or information anyone may have.
