Very nice holsters, thanks for posting them, John.
A very fine early Colt 1903 pocket auto holster, rawhide edge laced & full floral hand tooled.Inked inside is "W.S. Lewis Sheriff Clark Co. Ohio" which would be really interesting if W.S. Lewis showed up on the roster of Clark County Sheriffs- he doesn't. More important to me is the maker's etching, also hidden, that states "95 32 3 3/4 F.S." which may well be a model number (95) & may help me determine who made this holster-it is obviously high end saddlery or commercially made.
Next is a S.D. Myres holster for the Colt Government Model made of pigskin.Full leather lined, full sewn welt, exterior & interior leather appear to be pigskin.Very unusual-I hope you find it interesting as well.
Enjoy.

I love that top one! I had a holster plan for my "new" 1979 S&W 39-2 but just make one like this for it instead. I love the lacing and that sculpted loop with the little point on the bottom border. Picture this gun in a holster like that.

These are very nice examples. I wish I could find one for my 1903 & 1908.
