Excellent group. They look real good sitting there next to each other. How long did it take you to hunt done that same manufacture year quartet?

I think it was just over 5 years. It started out as an accident. I just happened to pick up the .32 to go with my .25, about 2 years later I picked up the .38 because it was really cheap (it had about 98% of the finish GONE!) I decided to get the .38 restored and when I picked it up from the restorer and logged it into my books I started to check serial numbers and found I had 3 that were all made in 1919. Then the hunt was on for a .45. Now that I have one I will have to start looking for a really nice .22 semi-auto made in 1919. It should be easier to find then the 1911. I picked up the 1911 at the Rock Island Auction. It was the only item I won. I bid on several other weapons but they quickly got out of my price range.
