Ivories with an Officers Model

A recent post prompted me to post a few snapshots of an Officers Model that I picked up several years ago. I was told it was an Heirloom Edition for Colt's 150 th anniversary. I think maybe one of the big distributors had these run with the serial numbers 00 and 01 for each state so I guess there are 100 of the out there somewhere. Any of you guys have info on this one? I've been a member here for a while but mostly just lurking, spend most of my time on the "other" forum where the cylinders turn the other way. Thanks for looking. Doug

I recently parted with a Tank Officers model. It was a special run of 350 for a single shop. I had #019.

Well, because a friend is a true collector and 'needed' it. I like to acquire and play then move to the next one. Admit that I hang onto some for some time but seldom look back after the sell decision. I do say that 'if you decide to sell it I will buy it back, or expect right of first refusal'.
