Here is my Combat Elite with VZ grips "slim grips". According to Colt this gun was made in 1994.

here's mine. went back to COLT after the front sight parted my hair while firing. They changed to hammer and tuned it up, real nice. Never had a problem since. It's been shot quite a bit & eats everything!!. I use my Marvel/Wilson .22 kit on it, too
