Home brewed Commander

[Brevity]

A few years back Colt sold a Series 80 Government Model Enhanced Frame Only.
This was an effort(a very small effort) by Colt to enter the competition market when IPSC went race gun crazy.
The fact the frames were slightly less in cost as a whole gun doomed this to failure.
However, I bought three into the shop. Sold two and used the last one for something I wanted to be special. I have an affinity for Ed Brown products, so I used these as much as possible.

1. Enhanced Colt Frame.
2. Enhanced Colt Commander slide
3. Colt oversized barrel, fitted.
4. Oversized National Match Bushing cut to Commander length and fitted.
5. Brown full length recoil guide rod.
6. Brown enhanced grip safety.
7. Brown Wedge mainspring housing.
8. Brown long adjustable trigger.
9. Colt Custom Shop Ivories.
10. Wilson Disconnector and Sear.
11. Brown mag release with a 7# spring.
11. Fire blued slide release, hammer, and stock screws purchased from my good friend in Connecticut.
12. 3 - SS Randall mags complete the package.
13. Carry is in a Bianchi Pistol Pocket with a twin mag pouch.

While it looks pretty, it is a carry gun, and is sighted in point of aim, point of impact at 25 yrds.
