    All I can say is "wow"!! Amazing...must be a real joy to handle. I see something superb like this and I keep thinking that one of the 3 1917's I have, the one with the roughest finish, is just gonna have to undergo a major change someday. All I gotta do is find a bucket of money lying about.

    What do you do for a holster for that? I mean they never made one with a snubbie barrel.

    I had Tom Dyer at Saguaro Gunleather in Kingman AZ make this one for me. Same Colt, different grips.

    That is BEAUTIFUL. Bad to the bone indeed. I've been keeping my eyes open for a 1917 that can be built into a snub almost like that. My ONLY difference will be leaving the fixed sights in place. Is the finish hard chrome?
