    Let's see your cased pistols

I am hoping you guys will post some photos especially of your older pistols in fine wood or leather gun boxes even if not Colt guns or original factory cases.

Twenty five years ago I made a shoulder holster for a freind who taught blacksmithing and other stuff at a Berkeley college. He was a gun collector in Berkeley, California, if you can believe that. He made me this case for the holster. He found the old box and built all the guts, including my initials scrimshawed on an ivory piano key on the inside of the top. It was made for my long barreled Colt .45 but here is a 44-40 Centennial in it. Below is that .44 in it's original factory case from 1975.

My latest is Colt's Officer's ACP Commencement Issue Ltd Edition Serial # FA00001. It was a Colt's Museum "sample & display" piece.

Great idea for a thread! All I have to share is this one. Artillery luger from 1918 with an original board stock (but not numbered to the gun)

These two are not all that old. Both date from 1977.
A Colt Second Amendment .22 and a Smith model 27-2.

Wisdom does not come with age. It`s just that as you get older you become less physically capable of acting stupid.
