That's a nice looking piece. Is that the old new ammo you broke open recently?
Here's some pictures of the S&W 2" bbl. round butt I got from member Glennster a few weeks ago.

Very nice! Maybe we need to start a guns n' ammo thread?![]()
wow. Wait. Let me rephrase that. WOW!!!!!!!!!
Very nice little S & W 'M&P' Snubby!
Love the half-round Front Sight on those.
And, or but...if you carry it much, you start to REALLY appreciate the COLT 'Detective Special'.
( Lol...sorry, could not resist...and, it is true, too! The DS is quite a bit lighter...and, both hold 'Six'... )
I am sure I will shoot it but it won't get carried. The condition is just too good for that. If I carry an S&W K frame, it's gotta be my Mod 13-2 .357 mag. 3" heavy barrel. It has the most amazing DA trigger pull.
I think the D frame is the best choice for a 38 Special snubby for general concealed carry. For the deepest types of concealment, the J frames win for me.
That's a beautiful gun. That hammer style is the most graceful and beautiful that S&W ever put on a hand ejector. I'll never understand why they changed it.
Very appealing revolver and in such fine condition too! The blue finish looks rich and nearly new. I like the look of the round butt M&P revolvers, especially in 2-inch guise. They look better than the square butt version to me. I have large hands but like the way the round butt with the factory stock panels feels for double-action shooting.
I may have a near brother to it. I have a 2-inch square butt M&P with a serial number of C304XXX. Oh, almost forgot a 4-inch square butt M&P with a serial number of C322XXX also around here.
I agree...
Too, for whatever reason, after my Colt Government Model, the Hand Gun I shoot best with, far as fast draw and shooting with alacrity at reasonable distances ( ten or fifteen yards, rapid fire ) is any of my old ( 'pre-model 10 ) S&W 'M&P' Snubbys.
Though, if I had a Colt Army Special or Official Police in a 2 Inch version, I imagine I would do well with either of those also.
The S&W 'M&P' is right between the Colt DS or PPS, and the Army Special/Official Police, in size...
It is interesting to me how the Colt and S&W line up of times passed was neatly staggered in this way...the S & W 'N-Frame' being right between the Colt Army Special/Official Police, and, New Service, in size, also.
