John Does Excellent work he has done a couple of rifles for me.
These are two of the reissued Frontier Six Shooters that I bought in 2008 and had redone to my specs. BP bevels and better finish, e.g., fire blued screws & better polish. John Schultz, did the work. These are shooters and not safe queens. I lucked out on the ivory as it turned out beyond my wildest dreams. The wood grips & they are finished with five coats of hand rubbed Tru Oil. I had the chamber mouths opened up to 0.4315" to take a 0.430" bullet as the groove diam. measures 0.429" according to my measurements. They both shoot a ragged hole at ten yds. dead nuts on with 37 gr. FFg REAL BP. Forgive the fingerprint smudge marks as I was positioning them for a better camera shot.
