1952 Cobra & 1953 Detective Special

1952 Cobra, serial # 19618 LW. 1952 is my birthyear and I picked up the gun from my dealer on my last birthday, March 14th, 2011






1953 Detective Special serial # 646210. This is the gun that came with huge Pachmayr rubber grips
Luckily, I had a spare set of the correct era Coltwood stocks for it. It also had an approximately 3mm surface rust spot on the left side of the barrel to the left of the Detective Special stamping and the muzzle crown. I cleaned it up and used some Oxpho Blue Paste on it to keep the rust away.

By now you are all getting tired of this old blue towel background and the only two vintage boxes of ammo I have. I'll try to come up with something different next time
