My Colt

This is the only Colt in my collection as of today. Hope to add a Defender soon. I just love the blacked out look. Nothing shiny on this one. You can see a couple of places where it has rubbed in the holster.

Those are great pistols. Not too expensive, mine shoots better than most other 1911 type pistols.

If I were to own a Modern Gov't Model, I'd want it to look like that - Basic 'Black' and matte, just works really well in so many ways.

Truth be told, a man can live a long time, do a lot of things and go a lot of places with just such a gun and never really need another. Just a great looking, understated rendition of the Government Model. Congratulations!
