    And oh, for the colt Talo o19170a1MA:

    Did a bit work by replacing the controls with checkered ones.... slide stop, slide lock and grips.



    ...the slide stop though is from a ww1 repro... I guess I won't be able to find the correct checkered A1 slide stop.




    ...then later slotted and USGI milled checkered trigger and short wide spur hammer.

    I ran out of both... but I would still be able to squeeze in a colt o1911A1 wwII repro if I could only find one ... and of course the wife approves of it loL!

    Nice 45s, real nice. You gotta love that tiny checkering. Contrary to popular belief I got nothin' against Canadians and please educate us on Canadian gun laws.

    Yes, as these are very difficult to find in Canada.
