Nice. The M10 in the 5" length is a nicely balanced, easy to shoot .38. Nickle is neat, too.

For 20 years I`ve been saying that someday I would get a S&W model 10.
But always put it off because they were common as dirt and I could get one anytime.
But when I saw this one, I just couldn`t pass it up.
Model 10-5 from 1973. Doubt it has had a box of ammo fired.

Wisdom does not come with age. It`s just that as you get older you become less physically capable of acting stupid.

Nice revolver. The 5" versions are, to me, more pleasing in proportions & appearance than the 4" versions.
Enjoy.

love it!
Yea Mike! I love it! A little less common barrel length for modern Model 10 revolvers. The 5-inch length seemed more common in the early days. Thanks for showing it here. It is in very nice condition.
It's only a little nicer than my 5-inch nickel 1904 example.

That's a good one. You're right about the model being common- but a sweet 5" in nickel is not so common. You could put that up and be justified- or you could shoot it a lot too. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats, Mike, that's a real beauty. Enjoy!
