My grandpa carried this as his car/night stand gun for as long as I can remember. My grandma actually had to pull it once. They were in Landcaster CA and in their motor home. Sure that with age made them a easy target to be robbed. My grandpa went around and let my grandma in the passanger side first. When he walked around the front of the vehicle he was stopped at the drivers door by a man who came up from behind the motor home. My grandma said she never saw the knife and thought it was someone begging for money and my grandpa was giving him a buck. My grandpa had pulled out a 20 and told him to get lost. When the robber had demanded for the whole damn wallet my grandpa threw it on the hood. At that point my grandma knew something was wrong. She grabbed this Python and came out the passenger side and around the front. I guess as soon as the guy saw the gun he took of running in the other direction yelling "Don't shoot me you son of a bitch". They went into the store and had security call the police. Security said this wasn't the first time this had happened and wished she would have shot him. She said if his back hadn't been turned she would have. LOL Once he turned to run there was no way. Surprising being California when the cops showed up they didn't take the firearm. Actually had them put it back in the glove box, and let them on their way. Usually in California you aren't allowed to defend yourself and the criminal has all the rights.
Just goes to show you don't mess with a little old ladies husband of 50+ years unless your ready to meet your maker.
