    GC Series 80 Variation

I just got my second GC Series 80 so I thought i'd post some differences between the two. The top one is a later model Series 80, and the middle one appears to be earlier. It looks just like the Series 70 that I included for comparison. The differences are the hammer - spur vs. round, grip - beavertail vs. standard tang, and cocking serrations - the later one has serrations closer to the back of the slide. The Series 70 and older Series 80 have more of a mirror-like finish, while the newer S80 is glossy, but there was obviously less work put into the finish.

Does anyone know of additional variations?

Hello, Did you notice the later version on the top has wider spacing between the slide stop notch & the dis-assembly notch, Why was this spacing changed ???
