They say tourism is Maine's largest industry. Lots of tourists from the urban northeast corridor of the United States come to Maine every year, particularly from states such as Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey...
...So I guess it is for the best that I am NOT the director of the state's Office of Tourism!

I Spent a week in Southern Maine in 1997 and it was such a beautiful place just amazingly beautiful Shores and Forests and endless Creeks and Streams...did a lot of driving, visited Portland Maine...wonderful Seafood everywhere it seemed. Good memories...
