I bought this Python a couple of months ago and intend to make it one of my regular range revolvers. I have always wanted a Python with a 6-inch barrel. It is in very nice shape and came with the original box numbered to the revolver and its test target dated 12/22/66. It is a nice companion to my 4-inch Python that was shipped on December 7, 1964.
Nice pick up. My '66 as in came out of the shipping box. I have a penchant for the 4" barrels but do have 6" in Diamondback, Trooper and OMT. and a few others. Just seem to be drawn to the 4" for the balance. YMWV. Nice piece sir.
What a beautiful 6' Python ... love those grips. I shoot my 6 inch 59 and they are very accurate..... thanks for sharing and enjoy the range time with that classic.
