    range report

    Took a quick trip to the range to shoot a few new additions including a Colt .22 lr conversion on my Series 70 MkIV Government, Astra 400, and my Auto Ordnance (Kahr) 1911A1 WWII clone. I had a few misfires and FTE in the first magazine with the conversion unit but after a magazine change that went away; I did fire 1 rapid fire string of 10 rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger without a hitch. The Astra didn't really surprise me after someone's comments on the another forum; the AutoOrd did surprise me; after I figured out the POI/POA it ate the paper target for lunch. Here's my targets:

    far enough away

    that there weren't any powder burns on the paper....

    I was about 10 yards away, between many mud puddles.
