No I wouldn't do that. YOU MUST have a gun Chambered for the Maximum for it to work properly.![]()
Anyone ever loaded and fired one of these through their Colt. I thought I got a deal on some 357Mag awhile back but turns out I bought 357Max which is no longer in production. Before I fire one I thought I would check and see if it is a good idea or not. thanx flanman

Max cases are .300" longer than magnums. It shouldn't even fit in a Colt. Even if it does, don't use it. There is a good chance you gun will grenade......Maximum ammo is tough to find. Even empty brass is scarce. You should be able to sell what you have for a nice price.
As a max shooter, it should never fit.
They are huge full power loads and need to be shot in a gun that can handle it.
That little round next to it is a 357 Magnum underneath my SBH.
I have 2 Maxes. One is the SBH and the other is DW model 40. Great guns and a great round!
10mm and 357 sig. The best things to come along since the 38 Super.
