I used Missouri Bullet Co. bullets. They are quality. I've loaded a couple of thousand of the .230 gr. lead RN and .200 gr. SWC. My shooter 1911 feeds either with zero problems.
I have just started reloading and have been using Rainier plated round nose bullets with great success.
Now to lower costs a little more, I have been looking at Missouri Bullets.

Are there any issues with using this type of bullet?
Thanks

I use that same bullet in mine all the time. Works great for me. Pay attention to C.O.L. and energy levels. Too light doesn't work well in my defender
Detectives, and Cobras, and Agents
Oh My!
I shoot both of these in my Defender. They are both H&G 68's. Actually the left one is out of a vintage Hensley mold from the early to mid 30's. The right one is a later Hensley & Gibbs mold from the 40's to 70's. They both shoot well. If you buy a Wilson mag the paper work that comes with the mag states the H&G 68 is the most reliable lead semi wadcutter for the 45acp. They even give recommended oal, and crimp dimensions.
