    Which powder for which season

As I begin to travel down the road of reloading I recall reading somewhere that the outdoor temp can have a major impact on the efficacy of the load. Such that at summer temps the perfect load may not be nearly as effective a propellent at winter temps. I have found where some powders are labelled as extreme temperature tolerant. What I cannot find is which ones are not tolerant so I know to only use them during certain seasons or to develop two or three different loads to match the season. If true then in Maine it is important to know which powder needs to be modified as we have yearly temp swings from -20's(winter) to 90's(summer).

I don't think you will have a problem. Keep in mind if you leave your ammo on the dashboard of your vehicle in the sun, it will affect velocity and pressure. The military use to live by the simple fact if you pick up ammo and it's to hot to hold, it's too hot to shoot.

In the winter time keeping your ammo in a coat pocket or under a coat if worn on a belt, should protect it from extreme peaks or valleys during shooting.
