Very nice. That's a great looking OP.
Got a chance to take my first boolits to the range today. Ideal 358416 sized to .358 using Micro Lube.
I was developing a load for my Official Police so I loaded ten rounds each of different powder charges. 4.2 to 4.8 grs of Unique. Boolit weighed in at 155 grains and I used CCI 500 primers.
Here is the target after firing all 40 rounds, center hold, at 50 feet. They started low left and came back into the center as the powder charge increased.
4.6 seemed to be the sweet spot. Of course my tired old eyes were the limiting factor.

What a nice Range Report!
I like how the differing charges gave differeing results on the Target at 50 ft.
In theory, all ought to be vertically aligned with the Bull's Eye, so, maybe some hold/Grip aspects are influencing how recoil is interacting with how your grasp may be pulling to the one side a little?
Was this one Handed, or, two?
Mighty good looking OP too of course!
Two handed grip. I believe I created most of the problems. It took me until about half way through those 40 shots to discover that my sight picture was less blurry with both eyes open. I have always shot with my left eye closed and have not had a problem. I got out of shooting for a number of years and now that I'm back I have noticed my eye sight makes for an interesting time at the range. I actually started taking my readers with me but this time I forgot them. I happened to open both eyes when bringing the gun up and noticed right away that the sights were noticeably sharper.
I guess I will have to start training this way as I was taking a long time to figure out which set of sights to pay attention to.

I like the way you colored the impact holes for different powder weights. That conveys a lot of information in a very compact form.
Buck
Looks like the green colored holes group is the load you are looking for, or thats when you used both eyes open?
There are days when the light just isnt right and the sights do not appear sharp for me. There are some days when the lights just right and the sights are very clear. It does make a big difference in how well I shoot. I generally find that early morning or evening is best for sight picture.
Good range report and good thinking on coloring the holes for the different loads.
I didn't color the holes. That's how the target is made. Makes seeing what you hit a lot easier at distance.

Oh, duh, now I see. At first I thought they were the different load groups.
