    Sources for LSWC HP?

I will probably start to reload for my Colt Cobra once the holidays are over. I think I have read all of the .38 reloading threads here and it seems that 158 grain LSWC and LSWC HP are a common or preferred load out of short barrels. I have an abundance of HP38/WIN 231 and will be trying that since I reload for 9mm and .45 acp. Is there any preference from either an accuracy point or any other for that matter between the two bullets? Right now, I can only put my finger on one source of the LSWC HP and that is Speer. Any others? Midway USA has Hunter's Supply (unknown to me) and two or three jacketed types. I see lots of sources for LSWC but not the HP flavor. I normally cast my own but may just buy them for the Cobra.

Any input or hints on reloading for the Cobra or any other 2" barrel?

    Thank you in advance,
    grumpa

The SPEER 38 caliber 158GR SWCHP is a doozy in any 38 pistol and truly shines in a snub. DO NOT bother with cast SWCHP'S in a snub for anything other than practice.
ZERO use to make a really excellent 38-158GR SWCHP swaged bullet but I do not know if they're in business anymore.

Why do you say for practice only? Legal issues?
