I think you could get a little better one than that for that price. Bob

I would seriously be concerned buying from someone that has been signed up since 2007, but has no transactions.
Take a look at the auction houses. Little Johns and Rock Island have auctions coming up in February. There are many times great deals on guns that have been verified. |

these places all have first gen saa's in your price range that can at least show you what's out there. including several artillery models.
http://www.armchairgunshow.com/otsCA...ction_army.htm http://www.cherrys.com/handguns.htm http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/ad...3&subcatID=158 like the others, i'd say you could get a little more gun than the one shown at the price. i do agree with you though about first gen vs. third gen. i just have no interest in a new gun. part or much of the premium on first gen saa's is where a particular gun might have been, who might have used it etc. it's the "character" of the piece. |

I only found this site a few years ago,and I rarely part with my Colts. That's the reason for a lack of transactions.I've sold some items thru EBAY. (humminghome) and bought a few guns thru Gunbroker and AuctionArms. (pecospark and pecosriver) I understand your trepidation, but not all of us can be charter members. Please don't assume I'm out to cheat anyone. If you choose not to buy,so be it.
