o1918 is basically a continuation of the 1911 WWI commerative series that was so successful. Both were originally scheduled to be limited to 4000 units however I have seen o1911 with serial # over 4000 ( these end with the initials of the CEO) and I currently own an o1918 with a serial # that is 4000+ as Kid points out these serial numbers end in WWI. Beautiful gun. Not so beautiful camera in my house so pics have to wait sorry
