CSMC/Standard have acquired SMEs from Stag Arms, Sig, Colt and elsewhere. They are doing the right things to to be taken seriously in these new ventures. Their first product, the .22 Thompson, is an absolute hoot.

Settles for only the best, key words for sure and if so it should go over well .
The thompson looks nice....but they have no real good web presence, if they wanna sell product they have to get it together. I google the Thompson 22 and it looks amazing cool.
I think their price point is to high for what it is.
At 1200 I might jump. At 1500 you can buy a used Colt after some shopping around.
I think there is a market for a quality made American SAA 'clone'.
I wish Colt would produce a less expensive external finish- Colt SAA and produce more of them as shooter guns- that could be found- VS the scarce as hens teeth current Colt SAA.
Think S&W Highway Patrolman Mod 28- VS S&W Mod 27.
Alas- that most likely won't happen.

Colt could also clean up the design of the Colt Cowboy, offer some caliber options and put it back on the market for <$1000. Might be a winning strategy now, in this market? Just thinking out loud?

If they did, it wouldn't be a classic Single Action Army, and that's what folks want to buy.
