    The OP's SAA is a beauty! Great engraving! Also, I like that light touch of gold on a blue & case colored SAA.

    Those grips are perfect for the gun! They actually look better than ivory to me.

    I like the grips also. They need to come up with some colloquial name for those grips, "giraffe bone" just does not have the appropriate Old West sound for grips on a SAA.

    Here's my 1st generation engraved SAA, circa 1905 32-20.
    Real cowboys don't line dance, a Buckaroo won't even watch.

    That Colt SAA is striking. The total package and I like the gold inlays. The question is are you going too shoot it. I know I would have to take it out once in a while.

    Most likely not. It looks like the barrel legend was engraved with the dull edge of a screwdriver.
