    Couldn't Resist This one

Local FFL sold me this out of his personal collection. 3rd generation, black powder frame, engraved by John Adams, Sr, Blue and Case Color by Turnbull, Giraffe Bone Grips. Always wanted an engraved SAA,

Frame, Cylinder and barrel have a beauty engraving-pattern, looks good. Not crazy about the gold stripping personally but if I have the coin for just-engraving someday; a pattern something along those lines would be what I get!

    Nice Colt

    I like it!

I could live without the gold stripe on the hammer.

It's a great gun I'd like to have but I'll have to suffer with my DIY job of 35 years ago --

Ivory carved in Africa for about $6 a pair when I was working there ----->

That's a beauty mrbumps. The Giraffe bone in particular has some interesting shades that I think nicely compliment the bluing.

Beautiful Colt's! I just can't get my head into engraving? I do not know why? These guns certainly are examples of finely crafted pieces which display all of the artisan skills of a difficult to master craft? Must be something out of kilter with me?
