Do the numbers on the bottom outside of the box match the serial of the gun?
+++SPF+++ Here's a near-flawless 1961 4" blue Colt Trooper, 38 spl., wide hammer, with gorgeous original Colt Royal Blue finish in at least 99% condition. I cannot find a single significant flaw in the bluing with no wear of the leading edges of the frame or cylinder, no marks of the cylinder itself, no scratches or mars anywhere, and no wear of the muzzle. A barely detectable cylinder rotation line is not through the bluing. Original stocks are also in excellent plus condition. Pristine bore, perfect action and timing. Comes with the original serial number matched box and the original "Handling the Handgun" brochure. The box is in good condition with some wear and some tape repair on the inside.
SN is 9306XX dating it to 1961 per Proofhouse.
It would be impossible to improve on the condition of this vintage wheelgun. This one will not disappoint.
$590 shipped by insured Priority mail from my FFL to your FFL ( a cost to me of about $35).

Yes, the SN on the bottom of the box DOES match the gun. I am certain this is the original box.
