Do you know the year of manufacture
Up for sale: One Combat Python with a Colt Archives letter. ( yes the letter comes with it at no extra charge ) The Python is LNIB and has been fired 12 times ( 12 rounds ). Never holstered or carried and frankly looks at lot nicer than the ones I've seen on Gunbroker listed as NIB. I've no interest in trades as bringing any more weapons into my home could result in a costly divorce. I've seen ugly ones go on some sites for $6500.00 so since mine is in much better condition and because I'm a nice guy the price will be $6500.oo with all FFL fees and shipping the responsibility of the buyer.

Do you know the year of manufacture
The letter from Colt states the gun was shipped to Lew Horton on February 11, 1988 so I assume 1988 was the year of production. The letter states that its one of 500 made yet Ive been told ony 300 were made by people more knowledegble than I.
Any blemishes appearing in these photos are simpy gun rag lint as the weapon has no rust, pitting or blemishes.
