I decided to offer this to see if someone wants it at a good price before I post it on GB. This is fantastic looking Colt Detective Special unshrouded Blued in 38 Special 2 inch. This Colt is serial number B2494X (should be 1971 according to TBOCF 3rd Edition) and does not have the box or any paperwork. It does come with a new generic brown cardboard box with a generic label. On the label the guy wrote "1st year of 2nd issue". Please disregard this, LOL. He also said it was NEW UNFIRED too, which it definetly has been fired some but is Excellent+/Near Mint condition gun and grips. The worst thing about the gun is on one side of the Hammer (silver part) has some spotting/discoloration (see close up pic) which is pretty common. This is completely smooth and not pitted but just looks bad since the rest of the gun is so great. The other side has a couple of little spots but nothing like this side. This Colt does have an Absolute Bank Vault lockup when trigger is pulled-actually alot better than some of my NIB Stainless Pythons Ive had... Price is $625.00 plus $50.00 Shipping insured CONUS.
